Just a quick note: It was May 22, 2001 that I had a bi-lateral mastectomy! I was fortunate that they "got it all" and chose not to undergo chemotherapy and radiation. I took Tamoxifen for a year and because it was causing me joint pain, I quit taking it. So, happy anniversary to me!
Coincidentally, yesterday I had an MRI because I am experiencing some pain underneath and below my left reconstructed breast and we are ruling out bone cancer. I am fairly calm and trust that God has healed me of all sickness and disease and hope to find out it is scar tissue causing my pain. However, if you believe in the power of prayer as I do, please put my name before God and ask that my results be negative for bone cancer and anything else that might be a problem.
