Can you believe it is June already? And the retiring stamp set and accessories list is out. If you haven't received it from me via email, please shoot me a note and I will get it sent to you.
This was a card I did for the church prayer group. I discovered I had a double stash of Kiwi Kiss (retiring In Color) and patterned paper in the same color. My thought was that I had better use some of it and since I bought the striped ribbon twice as well, I made a bunch!
This is what you call a "Clean and Simple" card. I used a base of Kiwi Kiss and layered on a piece of the Kiwi Kiss DSP. Next, I wrapped the ribbon and tied the bow. What could be easier? I love where the sentiment is stamped and I absolutely adore the sentiment for a prayer group card: Love is spoken here. That sentiment is not a SU! sentiment but when I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I'm always on the lookout for fabulous sentiments for cards. In my mind, the sentiment can "make" the card.
It's a busy Monday and I haven't even started cleaning. So, I'm off to do my housewifely duties so I can enjoy some stamping this afternoon.
Have a fabulous June and make this a God-filled Month!
