Well, it is absolutely official -- the new catalog is now here and the new STUFF is available! You can never have too much STUFF -- at least, that is my motto. I'm sure you are as guilty as me about keeping something you know you will use SOMEDAY. And, you also may occasionally reach for something you know you have, but where is it? This card uses the new In Color Rich Razzleberry as a card base. I added a layer of Whisper White and on top of this, added a layer of the DSP from Razzleberry Lemonade. I layered the Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon on Whisper White and added three brads from the Fire Brads collection. I love that the In Color grosgrain ribbon is polka-dotted on one side and solid on the other -- a great way to stretch your crafting dollars!
Next, I added the rose from the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set that I had created earlier in a practice run using the Floating Reinker Technique. I popped this up with dimensionals before adding it to the card.
Finally, I used the Chit Chat Rubons and added my sentiment. I've just recently discovered how easy using Stampin' Up's! rub-ons is -- I had no idea and I've totally missed the boat! The rub-ons I had previously used from craft stores were never easy to adhere and ours our fantastic. Let's just say you get no grief! I have been using them for the last month and have had no problems AT ALL. If you haven't tried them, you should!
