What a couple of weeks it has been! I have bad news and good news! The bad news? I was mis-diagnosed! I don't have Osteo-Arthritis or Fibromyalgia! The good news? I have Carpal Tunnel! So, even though I don't have pictures ready to post this a.m., I will post a new card this afternoon and I'll actually be stamping, with braces, later today! I say Praise the Lord! No drugs and I just couldn't tolerate them anyway so this is fabulous news for me! The braces make this so much more bearable but typing is slow and I have to be careful of how much activity still as I only got the braces yesterday. However, what a difference a day makes!
Thank you all for your prayers -- I am so very blessed to know so many Christian women who put me on their list and again I say, "God is good!" I will see you this afternoon and I'll be blogging regularly again for the remainder of the week as long as the creative juices are still flowing!
Have a fabulous day!

Tami, I am glad for a correct diagnosis. A little FYI..if you have a WalMart near by they sell these wrist braces...not the kind with the big clunky metal pieces...but they are like soft fitted gloves, no fingers so you can still use your hands and they velcro shut. They're around $12.00 a pair and they make a difference and help keep blood around the wrist and the pain down without making it awkward to use your hands. Good luck...I have several sets..some for crafts and some at the computer!

Praise God Tami! Carpel Tunnel is much easier to live with and more cureable than the other alternatives. I'll second Linda's comment about the braces. Futuro makes a terrific line too and one of the keys I discovered with my own treatment some years ago was to wear them at night and be aware of the postioning of my hands while sleeping. Turned out that my own was caused in part by the weird ways I twisted my hands/wrists while sleeping. Once I trained myself to sleep with them under the pillow or in another protected and more fixed position the pain diminished much more quickly than the doctor expected! Now some years on I rarely have to wear the braces but my sleep training has held - LoL! Now if only my fibromyalgia and arthritis were as easily cureable! Ah well so glad you are on the path to a recovery and cure.
Hugs and blessings - Jean
